As a student: all applicants will need to submit 3 references willing to vouch for their Christian character as well as a strong desire to build a foundation for their future walk with the Lord.

As a sponsor: FYI has developed a “Footsteps” program that connects participants with those that may not be able to go themselves. This is essentially a pen-pal program where those able to donate will be connected on a bi-weekly basis with the students for real time updates from the land of the Bible. Every donor - no matter what level - will receive video calls, photos and stories from a sponsored young adult, literally walking in the footsteps of their student as they discover new insights into the Bible and the Land where it happened.
